I wish I had the chance to know him. I know what he meant to you. His spirit lives forever. I had signs of his presence and I am not the only one.
I woke up last night as it was already June 13th here. I prayed and sang inside "soul in isolation" by The Chameleons.
Today, like he would make me a joke or a gift, the weather is not hot at all. It is gloomy and windy. For the first time in days, no sun. Rest for my skin and my soul.
I lighted a candle and said my prayers to him in a small, ancient church that was significative here in WW2. I thought that place would be the best place to remember him in my prayers today. I am a spiritual being and have pure beliefs, even if I do not go to church like people do.
As I was entering the church, some raindrops fell. I now think he was shaking his beer on to me. On that moment, I looked at the sky and asked him not to weep.
All my love and respect to Ed on his b-day. May he rest in eternal peace and happiness. Mey he protect us. May he give us the way to survive pain and bitterness of life. I love him my way.

Sun, June 13, 2004 - 3:41 PMTim, this is my nature. Some said that my heart is too good and spontaneous to survive in this world. There are some people who encourage this nature of mine. One is you :). -

Re: Happy Birthday, Ed!
Mon, June 14, 2004 - 5:53 AMFine...can't wait to make an exchange of slangs and dialects...I taught my language abroad...If someone of you tells me that it is enough to learn a language to get a beer in some place..this time I will take a baton off my pocket, lol!
I kid, I kid!
Anyway, that story is true...there were some old people not understanding why I would teach with such a passion for they would only love to learn how to get a pizza...I had a crisis of a couple of seconds, then I told them that I was very happy of their results for they knew more by far. It was true!!!:)
